NOVEMBER 16, 2007:

The long awaited release of Cynthia Paddock Doroghazi's book, Searching For The Open Door, A Woman's Struggle For Survival After A Traumatic Brain Injury, took place on November 13, 2007 at the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation's Humanitarian of the Year Fundraiser in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Releasing her book at this event was very special for Cynthia as Magee Rehabilitation Hospital was the first of three rehabilitation programs in Cynthia's journey to an almost miraculous recovery.

Cynthia autographed over 300 books for this event, and received a standing ovation from the fundraiser attendees for her speech that recognized the very hard and dedicated work put forth every day by each and every employee at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital.

The following day, November 14, 2007 was even more satisfying for Cynthia because she was able to sit for two, plus, hours signing books and speaking to both employees and patients at the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. You can see from the photographs that Cynthia had a line waiting to receive her book and to speak with her; she was thrilled to speak to each and every one in that line for as long as necessary.

Book sales from both the November 13, 2007 fundraiser and Cynthia's book signing at the hospital on November 14, resulted in a $2,500.00 donation by New River Publications, LLC to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation. With your support, through continued purchase of Cynthia's book, Searching For The Open Door, A Woman's Struggle For Survival After A Traumatic Brain Injury, New River Publications, LLC and Cynthia Paddock Doroghazi will be able to "give back" to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, and other organizations just like them, for their contributions to mankind.

Cynthia and Steve Doroghazi have much to be thankful for, and hope you will join their mission to give back to those who have helped them along their journey through life.
